Simply put, Gravity SEO, Inc. is a company dedicated to delivering world-class search engine optimization services.  We serve a small, but diverse group of clients both domestically and abroad.  Our approach to SEO is holistic, hands-on and results-oriented.  And, over the years, we have built a solid reputation of service and integrity.  The company itself is the result of a partnership between David S. Brooks and Dan Sullivan, two businessmen with diverse but complementary backgrounds who share the same passion for excellence.

Why the name, "gravity?"  We like to think of our work, in the most general sense, as increasing the web footprint, authority and trust of our client's website to the greatest extent possible so that it can be found across an ever widening spectrum of search queries.  When done correctly a website can become an important hub of information and commerce relative to the website's purpose - kind of like a mini solar system.  The nature of the internet is such that these types of websites tend to attract more visitors, links, news mentions, blog posts, etc. and therefore even more authority and trust - naturally.  The strength of that domain will then continue to grow in this natural fashion i.e., needing less spammy SEO methods, which is more in line with Google's guidelines.  This is simply a more stable and profitable internet business model.

Background of the partners:

David Brooks has over 7 years of direct, hands-on internet marketing experience.  He has been the SEO Manager for a top interactive agency as well as several large e-commerce sites.  He specializes in search engine optimization, keyword and market research, link building, copywriting and website design consultation.

His background is in advertising and marketing.  His career started in point-of-purchase advertising, selling large printed vinyl & paper banners to the movie studios for video release marketing.  His list of clients included Disney, Warner Brothers, Paramount Pictures and other movie studios. Later, he represented a large industrial directory offering both print and online advertising, a position which eventually led him to online marketing.

David's philosophy to SEO is simple:  develop a sound and customized marketing strategy based on the client's objectives and unique needs and follow it up with dedicated and spot-on execution.

Dan Sullivan has been working with consumers and businesses on the internet since 1999.  He has directed internet-based consumer research at a top 10 market research company and has provided consumer research services and consulting for a variety of consumer and business to business firms.

His background is in consumer behavior and technical Internet operations.  Starting in market research, Dan has gathered consumer feedback from millions of consumers and converted it to actionable business information. He introduced some of the research industry's first blog and podcast-based business products.  Later, Dan led technical operations of a major ecommerce site, where SEO began to become a larger and larger consideration in all elements of an operation.

Dan's approach to SEO includes a very systematic, technical approach that factors in consumer feedback and client's other internal operational skills.
